Descriptions Adam's Tiger (Adam's Chronicles Book 3) Download
The epic survival tale continues, as Book III of Adam’s Chronicles moves 500 years into the future. Planet Earth is still recovering from a disastrous meteor impact. The centuries-long effort to bring back animals and plants—and mankind itself—is nearing its conclusion.
Humans make a small footprint in this renewed world, though ecological disaster is expected from explosive population growth. Changes are in the works, troubles are brewing, and Adam Boatwright worries about the future.
The long-lived geneticist discourages mankind from again ruining the planet. His immediate goal is to make life more robust while improving Earth’s platform for future evolution. In doing so, he would bring back animals driven to extinction by early humans, starting with woolly mammoths and saber-toothed cats.
This book follows the pattern of earlier books in Adam’s Chronicles. It unfolds like an action adventure thriller, and science continues to be the major theme. Yet the story is non-technical in nature, all discussed in ordinary language as part of an exciting saga. As easy to read as a newspaper, this book places major emphasis on controlled evolution. Always, a main focus is on human actions and relationships.
As with other books in the series, the continuing story combines science with conjecture, mystery, thrills, and intrigue. It is also a tale of a great love, told as if it were true. The heroic scientist is a long-term widower who has found rejuvenating love. His new wife Breeze behaves much like her great-great-... grandmother, Vera (Adam’s earlier wife). She rekindles her ancestor’s driving force and contributes mightily to this realistic science-fiction romance adventure. Their story is told in everyday language with minimal magic while emphasizing science. It is part serious medical thriller and part romantic science fiction, though there is little need to suspend disbelief. The story flows like a true first-person biography.
Adam seems bigger than life, like an actual person who magically steps out of a movie screen amidst an action adventure thriller. Many would label him a superhero, though not in a physical sense. The medical doctor and geneticist is on a long mission to resurrect the planet’s ecosystem, a gargantuan task best led by a person who does not age. And like popular superheroes, Adam Boatwright must cope with enemies. He must keep his true age a secret, lest others learn how to stop aging. Therefore, Adam continues to masquerade as a normal aging person and to fake his death. That is the only way to detract would-be traffickers in immortality, a universal attractor that in wrong hands could bring destruction of life as we know it.
