Which leads to further problems when someone tries to stop his investigation by sending him a letter bomb. This bomb blinds him and for a while he forgets about the investigation. He is dragged back to the investigation when the person who first contacted him asks what is happening. With the help of his colleagues he returns to the case.
This novel not only explores the problems behind the drug and Mark’s efforts to find the truth, but deals with the emotional problems involved when a life is turned upside down.
But at the same time this story moves at a rapid pace, has some wry humour, interesting characters and a feel that it might be happening right now.
